The Hunt Edition

Hunt Edition (and Pan Educational Music) were started by the flute player and teacher Simon Hunt respectively twenty and ten years ago. Simon studied with Alexander Murray, Geoffrey Gilbert and Jean-Pierre Rampal, played a lot of ballet, opera and orchestral music, and taught from elementary to conservatoire levels.

These catalogues, which include his teaching methods, evolve directly from this work and experience of thirty years. Simon was editor of the British Flute Society Journal from 1987 to 1991. He likes finding new music for flutes which is particularly accessible to young players.
